Jaw clenching, also known as excessive tooth-grinding or bruxism, is a condition causing enlargement of our chewing muscles, the masseters.
These enlarged masseters can give the appearance of a square-like jaw due to their overuse, and as such injectable treatments may be helpful to alleviate grinding by reducing the muscle size.
After your initial consultation, your in-house treatment will be relatively quick and comfortable, without the need for a lengthy recovery period.
The overworked muscles will begin to relax over the next few days, with expected results seen over the next few weeks.
