Anti-wrinkle treatments are a popular request at Dr Harmony Aesthetics.
Our face is one of the most mobile areas of our body, it's the first thing we notice when we see and speak to each other. These movements can produce fine lines and wrinkles, especially across our forehead, in between our eyebrows and across our nose.
Anti-wrinkle treatments can work to diminish these lines, and can work by administering treatment directly to the affected area.

After your initial consultation, your in-house treatment will be relatively quick and comfortable, without the need for a lengthy recovery period.

The areas treated will begin to relax over the next few days, with expected results seen on average, two weeks after your appointment.

It is at two weeks, we invite you for an in person review appointment to assess your response to treatment.

What happens at my consultation?
You will meet with Dr Harmony to discuss your treatment aims and what treatment is suitable for you. Dr Harmony will take an extensive medical history to ensure treatment is safe for you. Bring along any medications or a list of them if you are currently taking any.
Am I suitable for this treatment?
Anti-wrinkle treatments have been shown to be safe in a variety of different patients. If you have any health conditions or are currently taking any medication, please disclose this to us at your appointment. Some treatments may be unsuitable for patients that are pregnant or breastfeeding.
How often will I have this treatment?
The results of treatment peak at 2 weeks from, and last on average between 3 to 6 months depending on the individual.

Some patients who are very active with a high metabolism, may need more frequent treatments to deliver the same result. Other patients may have a much longer gap between treatments.
​
Repeated courses are often needed to maintain results long-term.
Will it hurt?
Will we ensure your treatment is as comfortable as possible. Most report minimal discomfort during their treatments, and if this is something you are concerned about, please let us know.
How safe is this treatment? Are there any side effects?
Anti-wrinkle treatments have a good safety profile and have years of robust research supporting their use. During your consultation, your medical professional will go through the risks and benefits of treatments and will answer any questions you have.
